Thank you for visiting my page! I have a gallery of photos showcasing every wreath I have ever made. While I can’t duplicate any one exactly, I can design something similar for you with your colors and style in mind. I hope these give you an idea of what is possible for me to make for you!
A little background:
I have been a licensed massage therapist for over 35 years. I am state licensed in Ohio, North Carolina and Georgia, and am Nationally Board Certified in Massage. After being self-employed from the beginning of my career, and moving to rural Georgia, I began working with the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Lake Oconee spa. I continue to work part-time and love my job, the company, and the guests.
I had never been crafty nor was I even interested in crafts. When I needed a bow, I would take the ribbon to my neighbor Donna to make a bow for me. She insisted that I could learn but I just laughed. My neighbor Darlene invited me to a wreath making class at her church. I finished mine first and she said it was the prettiest of them all. Still nothing. I made that one wreath and then promptly forgot about it.
November 20, 2018, I had triple heart bypass surgery. This kept me down and home for months while recovering. After getting thoroughly bored, I began looking at Pinterest and watching YouTube videos. I had a thought that maybe I could do some of these projects. This is how Wreaths on The Side by Debra began.
September 2021, I moved all my crafting materials from the guest bedroom to a workshop in the Pyramid, just a few miles from my home. My husband, Joe, was thrilled to get all that glitter out of the house! Now I was ready for the next step, craft fairs, Google page, collecting sales tax, offering PayPal, becoming an actual little business instead of just a hobby. Now the fun really began!
October 2022, I opened a booth in 44 Marketplace in Eatonton, GA. I can now display and sell my wreaths every day. This has been a huge success and I am so very thankful to have both a workshop and a booth. Life is good!
